As I sip my Saturday morning coffee in bed I remember being 11 years old and listening to my sisters sing sing death house CD when she was avoiding our shared bedroom ?
Getting the whole way to Lordy Lordy without getting caught and thinking this is fucking wild and I love it.
My sister got kicked out and her belongings thrown out at the start of what would become a difficult few years all round.
The sing sing death house cd was missed but soon got confiscated for being ‘greb shit’ (uk early 2000’s ?) so I reverted to downloading the songs from YouTube until I had enough freedom and money to get my own.
This was probably 16 years ago now which is wild. The distillers hold a very special place in mine and my sisters hearts.
I cheers you all with my now very cold coffee and thank the distillers for being the best symbol of fuck it I ever did see.
